Libbie Christian
Libs is a dedicated fitness coach whose passion for health and strength training began as a teenager. After finding her confidence in the gym, she quickly discovered her drive to help others do the same. What started as a personal journey soon turned into a professional mission: to empower people to build lasting results and a better relationship with their bodies.
With qualifications including Level 3 Personal Training, Online Coaching, Sports Coaching, and a Health & Fitness Honours Degree, Libs brings both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to every client she works with. She is currently completing her Level 4 Nutrition & Weight Management certification and operates out of EliteFitness IOM as a personal trainer and business owner of Libs_Fitness
Libs is also a competitive bodybuilder with multiple class wins, overall champion titles, and professional-level placements across the UK. Her experience on stage reflects the same focus and energy she brings to her coaching — helping others achieve their best, both physically and mentally
Through her custom coaching app, Libs offers fully personalised training and nutrition programs, weekly check-ins 1-2-1 in person training sessions, and real-time support tailored to each client's lifestyle and goals. Steven Craine
Steven is a certified personal trainer with a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification, with a separate focus on nutrition after obtaining his Level 3 in Sports Nutrition. Steven has over 14 years of experience training in various sports, representing the Isle of Man multiple times, coupled with 5 years of weight lifting at 22 years old, bringing a diverse skill set and passion to fitness that he is eager to share with you.
Steven’s approach to fitness is we work hard, we push ourselves but most importantly, we enjoy the process. Fitness should always be fun, a part of our day we look forward to without fail!
Steven has also had his fair share of challenges; after dislocating his shoulder during a football injury, he dedicated himself to rehabilitating it through strength training and mobility work. If you’re recovering from an injury or dealing with physical limitations, he’s been through the process himself and understands the mindset and discipline it takes to get to the otherside. Max's fitness journey began at 16, when a personal interest in training quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. Shannon Groves
Shannon’s passion for exercise and sports, especially football, was undeniable from a young age. She excelled with the Corinthians and the Isle of Man team, later snatching the opportunity to study and play football with Everton FC.
After suffering an injury, Shannon returned to the Isle of Man where she discovered a new avenue - the gym. The weights, the equipment, and the pursuit of self-improvement became her new companions. The gym provided Shannon with a sense of purpose and a way to rebuild herself both physically and mentally.
Shannon later qualified as a health and fitness professional and has now guided countless individuals to achieve lasting transformation.

Juan Cheung
Juan has been a gym fanatic for a number of years and likes to keep fit and stay in shape. He has taken an active role in sports since High School, representing the Island in rugby and athletics and currently plays football for Rushen United.
Having a Personal Trainer in Dublin (Educo Gym) sparked the idea of becoming a trainer to Juan, that extra motivation with someone next to you can make a big difference, now he has created ‘Above & Beyond Fitness’ to pass on what he has learnt to his clients. Juan studied in Liverpool with Premiere Training International to achieve both his Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications.
Above & Beyond Fitness is all about plans that are ‘tailored to your goals’. If you know what you want to achieve to make changes to your body then Juan can provide the knowledge and motivation to help you get there. Meet Claire, a passionate and dedicated personal trainer. With enthusiasm and commitment, she has helped many clients on their transformative journeys towards a healthier lifestyle.
Having experienced her own fitness transformation at the age of 42, she understands firsthand the challenges and triumphs that come with embarking on a wellness journey. Her own experience has fuelled a passion for helping others.
As a mother of two, Claire understands the demands of juggling family life while pursuing personal fitness goals. She is able to help clients find the perfect balance between their responsibilities and their health. Sean Garland
Sean’s passion for exercise and sports, started from a young age where he worked his way through the ranks and achieved his black belt in Karate at age 14, aswell as playing for Douglas Rugby Club which he still does to this day.
Sean’s love for the gym started at 16 where he found the benefits of strength and conditioning specific training provided him with the strength and athleticism to excel on the rugby pitch.
Sean qualified as a level 2 fitness instructor straight after leaving school and then alongside working full time he studied for his Level 3 PT qualification which he passed at age 18.
Since then he has coached countless individuals who have achieved phenomenal results, far greater than the initially thought they we’re capable of and has instilled sustainable changes to their lifestyle to continuously improve their training and eating habits. Coaching clients both 1-1 on the gym floor and online, Sean works with numerous athletes on a daily basis. With his coaching slogan “for ambitious individuals” he believes that no matter who you are, wherever you’re a high performance athlete or complete newcomer to the gym. With sheer determination and a hard work ethic, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. All while having an enjoyable experience with sustainable results.

Shelley Quirk
Shelley graduated from Chester University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2009. Throughout her time at university she became inspired by the sport and science psychology side of sport. After university she worked in a gym based environment fro 2 years. This gave her the perfect foundation to develop her experience and gain knowledge in all aspects of the gym.
Shelley’s friendly persona ensures her sessions are fun, but she will work clients hard and motivate and encourage them throughout their sessions. This has helped her achieve great success with her previous clients. Shelley helps to battle any problems and barriers individuals have when they first set foot in a gym and helps improve confidence and well being. She has also successfully trained clients with very specific challenges, such as full knee replacements, back/core issues, cardiac rehabilitation, asthma and neuro-problems.
As well as providing specific training programs, Shelley also offers nutritional advice and meal plans. She is happy working with clients on an individual basis, with couples, friends and with small groups of people. Shelley loves a challenge but don’t let her smiley exterior fool you she can also bring you to your knees!

Kane Ridings
Kane is an experienced trainer having worked in various gyms before going it alone as a Personal Trainer. His passion is for functional training and has applied his techniques to improve both his personal performance in sports as well as other athletes in their various fields.
Kane has a passion for trying to resolve long standing issues, fixing muscle imbalances and ensuring the body is moving in the correct way to enable pain free movement. He understands the importance of muscle activation in a way that he can easily identify areas of weakness and is able to provide progressive plans to isolate problems and target specific muscles to bring the body back into balance.

Are you feeling worried about starting at the gym or overwhelmed by all the equipment you’ve never used before?
Did you know at Elite Fitness we also offer every member a FREE induction when you join up.
Inductions start with a brief chat with one of our qualified gym instructors to find out a bit more about you, your needs and what you want to get out of the gym. We will then give you a tour around the gym and show you where everything is before taking you through our workout induction program. This is a workout plan using some of the resistance machines that together make up a full body workout. These machines are grouped together and away from the more advanced free weights area and are the best starting point for any beginner. They allow you to perform the exercises in a safe and controlled way and their fixed range of movement is designed to ensure you work your muscles correctly on every repetition. On each machine we will demonstrate how they operate and what they specifically do for your body. We then ensure each of the machine settings are adjusted perfectly for your individual body shape and size before recording these on your plan. This means you will always know how to make any necessary adjustments going forward. You will get to try each of these machines under the guidance of our instructor and together we will agree a starting weight to lift and number of repetitions to suit your goals and again record all of this information for you on your induction plan.
When we have completed this for each machine you will have this full body resistance program to follow at your own pace and in your own time. The induction sheets allow you to make changes as you improve and you can track how far you progress from your initial starting points.
